We would like to share with you in an honest and transparent way how we connect with you and how you can change this if you'd like to interact differently with us. 

What personal information of mine is collected?


When you place an order with us, Shopify, our online store provider collects your information (Name, Address, Phone Number and Email Address) so we can process your order properly and get it to you on time!  We do not share or sell your personal info to anyone - it stays in the bear den safe with us. Your payment is done through Shopify's secure servers and your payment info is taken through their secure payment gateway, Shopify Payments. We (Great Bear) does not have access to your credit card info as it is processed securely on Shopify Payment's website. 


We use MailChimp for our online email campaigns and your information (name and email address) is used to connect with you about different news and offers from our company we feel you'd be interested in.  You must confirm your desire to be on our email list after signing up to 3x check you're sure! If you change your mind at a later date and no longer wish to receive updates/offers from us, there is an easy "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email - click it and you can totally de-list yourself. 

COOKIES - (the web kind)

We work with Facebook and AdRoll to advertise our online store and products to our customers by using cookies and pixel tracking. 


Facebook shows you advertising based on your "likes" and personal info you shared with Facebook. We (Great Bear) does not have access to this information directly and Facebook advertises to you on our behalf as a paid service. Facebook also allows you to modify what ads are shown to you. AdRoll require third parties, including Publishers (like Great Bear), to provide notice and obtain appropriate consent, where required by applicable law.

We believe in giving you control over which ads you see.
